Boomers finish World Cup on high note vs. Georgia
The Australian Boomers have finished their World Cup campaign on a high note, taking out Georgia 100 to 84 in their final game.
Dante Exum had his highest score of the tournament with 18 points and four assists, with Patty Mills top scoring with 19 points, five assists, two rebounds and a steal.
Starting point guard Josh Giddey ended his tournament with 15 points, four assists and two rebounds.
Duop Reath, who was underutilised in the competition, had 16 points in only 17 minutes.
The Boomers now look to the 2024 Paris Olympic Games which they have already qualified for as New Zealand didn’t make it to the second phase.
