Aussies impress in Vegas – Day 7

Photo: Cleveland Cavaliers

I’m not sure about anybody else but I’m starting to get exhausted by watching all this basketball. The seven games each day of Summer League, the Boomers and Opals pre-Olympic matches, the world junior tournaments. It’s getting a bit too much.

Is there such thing as too much basketball? Why do I endlessly pour my eyes into the screen just to see Emoni Bates miss three three-pointers in the final minutes of a game?

Am I sick in the head? I haven’t seen the sun in a week (mainly because I live in Melbourne but that’s beside the point).

Have the years of my own incompetence at the sport made me a worse sports writer, or has understanding the failures of my own game made me realise what a good player or team is?

Have I just rambled here because nothing major of note happened today? Yes… Yes I have.

Anyway, here are the stats from today’s game.
