Johnson & Furphy score at will – Day 5
In the divorce capital of America, day five of Summer League brought breakout performances for Australian Johnny Furphy and Illawarra Next Star AJ Johnson.
Furphy, who opened the day’s proceedings, had a massive game in Indiana’s victory over the Phoenix Suns. The wing had yet another 18-point performance including a clutch shot clock buzzer beating three pointer to ice the game for the Pacers.
For Milwaukee Buck first rounder Johnson, he had a career-high 22-points showcasing his potential in their loss to Josh Bannan and the LA Clippers. Johnson continues to impress at the Summer League level after a down year in the NBL.
